Los Angeles Steps Up!
Thanks to the gods of whisky, we've finally found a partner to host spirits tastings in the Los Angeles area. Wood & Vine, a new bar/restaurant located appropriately at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Vine Street, will be hosting our the first Spirits Tasting in the SoCal area in a long time. Start your night out off just right, Saturday May 28th from 5-6:30PM. We'll have the wonderful Andie Brokaw of Heaven Hill Distillery in house to give us the run down. The cost will be $40, but it will be worth your while, as Wood & Vine will be bringing out the big guns - think Rittenhouse 25 year & Parker's 27 year, both of which cost at least $40 a shot in Hollywood. A little bit of food will be served, but the focus will be on the whisky! Tasting through pretty much their whole line up as well as the new Try Box Series, which showcases the different styles Heaven Hill produces as fresh distillates. The place is pretty popular so if you'd like to eat dinner after the tasting, PLEASE PLEASE make a reservation by calling (323) 334-3360. Anyone who'd like to attend should contact me directly or click the link below, payment will be at the door directly to Wood & Vine, but I'll be facilitating reservations. Space is very limited! Don't wait...hopefully we'll be following up with at cost tasting à la Tuesday Night Tastings @ Martin's West.
