Workin' for a Livin'

Monday is normally my day off, but in this game there are no days off when you've got a Friday deadline hanging over your head. I had to drive down to Redwood City at 7 AM, grab a huge transfer of booze, and bring it up to the new store to start filling the shelves. Then my boys Jason, Doug, Mark, and I loaded up two full trucks with inventory and drove them over to 855 Harrison where we proceeded to unload them. By 11 AM my legs were already turning into rubber. For the next six hours I began the incredibly overwhelming task of laying out the new spirits department. THERE IS SO MUCH SPACE!!!!!!!!! We're talking close to 1,000 different products on the shelf of distilled goodness, ready for you to peruse.

I'm up again for another long grind tomorrow. Seeing that Tuesday is not my day off, I might actually put my head down and get something done. Today was just a warm up.
