Behind the Scenes with Sonoma Distilling

We are very excited about our exclusive single barrel from Sonoma County Distilling. Not only is it cool to have whiskey from our own backyard, but founder/whiskeymaker Adam Spiegel and his crew are doing things right: with a real grain-to-glass ethos and distilling in handmade copper pots, they are making sumptuous, powerful drink. And we’re especially fond of the hint of cherrywood smoke in our barrel selection that enhances the whole enchilada.

Adam was kind enough to take some time to give us our own tour of the distillery! If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to make the whiskey magic happen, this video is for you!

And afterwards, he takes us through the bottles with a personal tasting, including our K&L barrel—a mini masterclass exclusively for our customers.
