The Elegant and Easy "Whimsy Martini”

This season, we asked our spirit specialists at K&L to come up with some fun cocktails for the holidays. In Redwood City, Will and Neal jumped at the opportunity, creating some great drinks for all types of festive occasions.

Will, who was once a professional bartender, created this stunning winter martini, and he shares some great tips and tricks for martini-making in general. The cocktail has a elegant presentation perfect for holiday parties and it is as equally scrumptious as it is beautiful. A combination of vodka, gin and sweet vermouth, it has nice depth and flavor without any heaviness. The twist of lemon on top completes the drink, adding a bright finish of citrus. Its other winning feature is that it is super easy to make, with only four ingredients and two minutes of time (if you have your lemons prepped in advance).

Whimsy Martini:

1 3/4 oz Corbin Sweet Potato Vodka

3/4 oz Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur

1/2 oz Contratto Bianco Vermouth

Stirred over ice (10-15) seconds. Garnish with lemon twist.
