Perfect Proof

It’s been a wild year. No telling what 2019 will bring with the crazy political situation in the country right now, but there’s no doubt we’ll find plenty of reason to imbibe. Regardless of your political leanings one thing a government shutdown does for our industry is completely halt the approval of new labels. That’s not such a big deal in December but if this drags on we could see some serious issues for new products in 2019.

Luckily we’ve got a slew of exceptional new products ready to go on Jan 2nd. Expect insane values like a Milroy Highland Park 18 year single cask for less than $100, gorgeous new armagnacs from a single estate never before released to the public in the states, crazy closeouts from one of the most important bottlers in Scotland, and cache of new single barrel scotch to keep the malt train going.

But to help you ring in the New Year we’ve managed to sneak these two little perfectly wonderful bourbons into the store before the ball drops. Wathen’s is one of those little producers that doesn’t get a whole lot of notice, but when they put something special out the geeks take notice. These two old school barrels were just too lovable to pass up -not to mention last year’s offering (also a very unusual style) sold out in a matter of hours.
