Their figure head and Master Blender, Dave Pickerell, passed away last year and honestly we’ve been anxious to see how his departure would change the brand. Thankfully it seems like they’re not deviating from the course set by Dave and we extremely happy to announce the new release of Boss Hog.

This is a classic old rye finished in 10 year old Umeshu (Japanese Plum Liqueur) barrels. Created to commentate the scientist who discovered the enzymes used to ferment 100% rye nearly 100 years ago. His techniques are still used today and are a crucial element in the distillation of Canadian rye.
